Physician Assistant, Hemostasis Co-Lead

Katherine Ellis is a physician assistant who has worked with bleeding disorder patients for the past 6 years at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the department of hematology. She graduated from Lincoln Memorial University PA Program in 2012 and has devoted her clinical practice to pediatric hemostasis patients. She is the co-lead advanced practice provider for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Hemophilia Treatment Center and the Women and Girls Multidisciplinary Bleeding Disorder Clinic. She led the hemostasis telehealth implementation initiative from 2020- present. In addition, she teaches hemostasis at the St. Jude nursing academy, is assisting in creating educational handouts for hemostasis, and helped create Women and Girls Multidisciplinary Bleeding Disorder Clinic. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders.
