Carlos Cruz-Montecinos is a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy and Movement Sciences. He is a specialist in musculoskeletal rehabilitation with 17 years of experience in the Chilean public health system. Carlos coordinates the haemophilia rehabilitation program at San José Hospital in Santiago (national reference center of orthopedic surgeries). Together with the Chilean Society of Haemophilia, Carlos implemented the National Telerehabilitation Program for people with haemophilia. Carlos is also an assistant professor at the department of Physical Therapy of the University of Chile and has more than 60 publications in the field of haemophilia, biomechanics, and rehabilitation. His research focuses on various aspects of human movement sciences and rehabilitation, with the ultimate goal of providing, if possible, helpful knowledge to transfer the research to clinical practice.
