Education as a lever for better quality of care: what can we do as professionals and community members? This session will aim to demonstrate the importance of patient education and the impact it has on improving patient outcomes such as quality of life, patient care management, and social economics. Topics of discussion will focus on the significance of patients and families as members of the care team and will include examples of patient education in hemophilia and the best tools and practices for patient advocates to apply these principles in both developed and developing countries.
