Janette Itaas Kemp is a clinical nurse specialist in Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia Centre and Thrombosis Unit at the Royal Free Hospital London NHS Foundation Trust. She is part of the nursing team leading the joint haemostasis and obstetrics/gynaecology clinic for patients with thrombosis and bleeding disorders. Her previous experience included 15 years in adult acute coronary care. Since joining Royal Free Hospital in 2018, Janette has gained a broad experience in the care of both adults and adolescents with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. She has been involved in the introduction of new and improving treatment and management for these conditions.
Janette is passionate about the vital role played by the clinical nurse specialist and allied health professionals in care of women and girls with bleeding disorders. She is keen to ensure that the continuation of obstetrics and gynaecology care for women and girls is delivered in a safe and excellent manner.
