Dr. Buckner is an adult and pediatric hematologist at the University of Colorado Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. Tyler grew up in Tennessee and attended Rhodes College in Memphis. He completed medical school, Internal Medicine / Pediatrics residency, and combined adult and pediatric Hematology fellowship at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Dr. Buckner is a member of the National Hemophilia Foundation Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC), and he chairs MASAC’s Pain Initiative Task Force. Dr. Buckner’s research focuses on pain assessment and management in people with bleeding disorders.
