Challenges and experiences of aging: I’m still here, now what?

An increase in life expectancy due to major advances in treatment and care for those living with a bleeding disorder has been accompanied by a range of new challenges. With the unexpected survival into adulthood the session will explore the WFH Treatment Guidelines provisions on aging, specific management issues and new quality of life challenges. The plenary will address unique aspects and experiences of aging with a bleeding disorder including the need for specialty expertise rarely needed previously.
