In an era of new treatments, the way in which consent is discussed and obtained needs to be far wider than it has in the past. In this session we will explore what is legally required to fulfill consent, what an effective consenting process looks like, and why this is critical in the current climate. Join the discussion to hear more from patients undergoing different treatment plans, as well as experts from diverse professions, as they explore the evolving process of consent, and how this conversation needs to widen beyond the patient perspective.
